Method R sounds great for fixing performance problems, but what about preventing them?
Method R was designed in a problem-solving context. But Method R works in a preventive context as well. A business task doesn't have to be broken to be important. Companies that routinely measure the performance of their important tasks in the Method R way have a much better chance of preventing performance problems so that their users will never even endure them.
